Audio Modding

By incorporating your own audio files, you can either replace the game's default sound effects or introduce your unique ones. Additionally, you have the option to include voiceovers in your custom maps and even into the game's built-in campaigns!

 
 
 

Simply add your audio files to your zip-package and reference them by their filename anywhere in the map editor you see a field for SoundKey.

Voice Overs

To add voice overs its recommended that dialogue is added using a language file. Whenever you reference a key in your language file in a dialogue or story message, the game will look for a corresponding sound file.

E.g if you have a language key named “Mission1/Intro/Narrator” the game will try to look for am audio file named e.g “Mission1IntroNarrator.ogg”. Please note that characters that would otherwise interfere with the file path are removed.
